I've had this system for well over a year now so i thought i should chime in with my thoughts.
First the speakers they come with: Okay at best, yes the middle driver is plastic, it's silly, i'd rather just have the cabinet be solely used as a two way set up. But it comes with grills anyway so not a big deal. The bass is surprisingly present, they're not super efficient either,- using Bluetooth i'd have to turn the volume almost all the way up to have it heard in the kitchen in the room over. To me, this was all of moot point, since i planned on trading out the speakers anyway, and since that's what i was planning on doing, i can't give them too much flak and ending up giving the speakers away to somebody needing rear speakers in a 5.1 set up..
Second, the receiver itself: Worked great, we use the radio, just FM, which is fine by me. Having a CD player is nice again, a 3.5mm plug in and a Bluetooth receiver really take up a notch. the dials are workable and the aesthetics are really nice. The fact that i can plug in straight speaker wire (as mentioned above) makes this very versatile.
Third, customer care: after a year, the lights on the receiver started flashing and going out on the left side, not a big deal saying it was the aesthetic anyway, none of the sound quality was effected. That changed when the left channel on the receiver went out, much to my dismay. I emailed Innovative Tech support and they told me it was something that'd have to be repaired, they offered to do an out of warranty repair free of charge so long as i paid for shipping and handling- Fair Deal! they sent me back a brand new system (with two more speakers that i ended up giving away to someone else) or at least factory refurbished (don't really care which) and whamo, i'm back up to fool speed and suite tunes. That's the kinda of customer support that bumps it back up to a 5 star review.
